Trivial Pursuit Millennium Edition's graphics are all squirreled up on modern systems. Behold -- Trivial Pursuit: Acid Trip Edition:

To fix, install this patch. Unzip the three files to any folder and run "PatchInstall.bat"

Or, if you know your way around the ACT toolkit's Compatibility Administrator (32-bit), you can create your own patch by selecting the "16BitColor" and "HideDisplayModes" fixes

With the patch installed, try loading the game up again. Your screen should flash a few times, then advance to the main menu.
